TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participating in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

2. Entry is only open to permanent Australian residents. Employees of the Promoter and the immediate family of these people are ineligible to enter. Projects designed to directly or indirectly benefit a registered charity or corporation are ineligible to enter and should not be submitted.

3. The project submitted must be a genuine Community Project. The community group submitting the Project must have been formed at least 6 months prior to the date of the entry. The Promoter reserves the right to verify compliance with this requirement and may require a committee member to sign a statutory declaration to confirm compliance with this requirement.

4. A "Community Project" is a project by a local community group that is connected with the health, education, sport, environment, youth, or cultural purposes, and which benefits the local or broader community, not an individual or special interest group. The project must not be commercial, competitive or for profit.

5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time during or after the Closing Date of the promotion, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

6. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) each entry must consist of an individual project; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements.

7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries and such entries are deemed ineligible.

8. Promotion commences on 01.02.2007. Final entries close 31.05.2008. There will be 2 rounds for this promotion. Entries for each round will close on 31.5.2007, 31.5.2008. *Round two has been extended due to large numbers of committee handovers. This is a game of skill to be become a finalist. Each proposal will be individually judged based on the following: (a) benefit to the local community; and (b) the project's ethical value. The finalists will be notified by email. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Once finalists are published, voting is open to all visitors to www.femail.com.au & www.girl.com.au. The finalist with the most votes each round will win a cheque or bank transfer for $5,000 cash made out to the project/group name nominated. The winner will be notified by email and is required to forward a letter with an authorised committee signatories stating what $5000 will be used on, as per the proposal stipulated in winning entry. Receipts evidencing how the $5,000 was spent may be requested at any time by the Promoter. Finalists or friends of, using or believed to be using automated bots to vote will be disqualified. Voting is limited to 20 votes per day, per visitor.

10. In the event that the proposed project on the winning entry does not proceed within twelve months of the payment of prize, or the winner does not, on request, supply the Promoter with receipts or other written evidence of how the $5,000 was spent, the Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the prize, if not spent, or to be reimbursed for the full amount, if the prize is spent or partially spent.

11. Total prize pool value is $10,000. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.

12. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability however so arising (including all liability arising from negligence on the part of the Promoter or its officers, employees or agents) for any loss or damage whether direct, indirect, special or consequential or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, by the entrants, arising in any way out of or in connection with the Promotion.

13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

14. All entries remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use entrant information & subsequent correspondence, in any media for an unlimited period for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes (including the outcome) without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. The winner will also be required to agree to repay the full amount of the prize if condition 10 applies. A request to access or update any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below.

15. All references to money in these Terms and Conditions are to Australian currency.
