The famous set of Twins that have rocked Australia and the rest of the world. The veronicas have come along way in there careers reaching to no 1 on the charts in Australia several times, The Secret Life Of which sold more than 300,000 copies Down Under, racked up three of their five Top 10 singles and won a slew of awards making the girls international stars. Jessica and Lisa Origlasso grew up in Albany Creek, (northwest of Brisbane, Australia) And were born to Italian parents Colleen and Joseph on Christmas Day 1984. The girls were interested in the entertainment industry from a young age and had small parts on various television shows.

The girls attended Ferny Grove State High School and Wavell State High School. The girls were interested in the entertainment industry from a young age and had small parts on various television shows Warner Bros picked up the girls. Records/Reprise Records’ Sire Records label in 2004, for a reported sum of 2 million dollars. The girls write their own songs, and have also written songs for other artists like t.A.T.u.’s “All About Us” And Australian Idol winners Casey Donovan’s “What’s Going On” & Kate DeAraugo’s “Faded”. The name Veronicas name came from Archie Comics character Veronica Lodge
The Veronicas debut album, entitled “The Secret Life Of…”, was released in Australia on October 17, 2005, Entering the ARIA Album charts at the position of #7. Since then, it has peaked at #2 and gone 4x Platinum. Due to the success of the album, five singles have been released in Australia.The band’s lead single “Hook Me Up” from their second album was added to Australian radio on August 27, 2007. “Hook Me Up” was produced by Greg Wells (Timbaland, Mika, OneRepublic). The Veronicas’ second album, also titled “Hook Me Up”, was released on November 3, 2007, containing 12 tracks. The album in its entirety was leaked on the Internet 8 days before its initial release. “Untouched” is the second single off the album, and was made available in stores and online on December 8, 2007.
The Veronicas have recorded two amazing records, toured the world With there band and have had the taste of superstardom in Australia and around the world. They have there own clothing line and are will continue to take the world by storm

I just looove the Veronicas, there such a great band and they support what is important in Australia.
I didn't realise they had written songs for other international artists.
There clothing line is super cool.

The Veronicas are a great band, they together as sisters stand for so many important issues.
There clothing line shows that being unique and an individual is powerful and nobody has to conform.
I didn't know that they wrote songs for other International Artists, that is inspirational.
I congradulate the girls on being such an inspiration to many teenagers in Australia and the world.
