Stephanie Rice

Stephanie Rice recently gained massive media coverage when photographs of her raunchier side from Facebook hit the media. Following this huge coverage she and ex-partner Eamon Sullivan starred in a Davenport Underwear Campaign, after this, her and Eamon Sullivan split to concentrate on the
Olympics, which in turn gained even greater coverage throughout Australia. All of this coverage didn’t go to waste though, especially seeing as Rice has already won three gold medals for Australia after only swimming in three races.

Stephanie has blown Australia away with three races, resulting in three golds and three world records.

Stephanie celebrated her 20th birthday on June 17th, in the middle of a fierce training schedule and a relationship break-up. She grew up in Brisbane and her childhood ambition was to win gold at the Olympics. Stephanie won gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics as all of Australia watched, with her black-painted fingernails and wearing her $3 earrings.

Stephanie swam in three races, smashing world records and receiving gold in every one. Rice is one of five Australians to collect three gold medals at the one Olympics. She joined Shane Gould, Ian Thorpe, Jodie Henry and Patria Thomas in this stunning accomplishment.

Stephanie won gold in her first race at Beijing in the 400m individual medley, her second gold was from the 200m individual medley and her third when she was a part of the 4 x 200 relay team, who gained the world record by a fingernail.

Stephanie had a star tattooed on her foot after her first gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2006, I wonder if we will seee three more stars added.

Stephanie Rice is getting all of Australia's attention, is she the best Australian Olympian for the 2008 Beijing Olympics? Is there another Australian that deserves it more so than her?
