Rosemount Australian Fashion Week
Friday, October 10. 2008
Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) Autumn/Winter as well as Transeasonal Collections ready for 2009 will be presented in a new format. Most noticeably there is no centralised venue. This is normally seen at the larger RAFW Spring Summer Collection events held in April. The RAWF 2009 Collection Schedule will coordinate a calendar of events featuring the region's leading established as well as emerging designers. The events will begin on the 13th of October and conclude on the 19th of October after a week of fabulous fashion and entertainment.
Designers that are showing their new season collections as part of the RAFW 2009 include established names such as Kirrily Johnston and Nicola Finetti through to relative newcomers like Christopher Esber and Sara Phillips. Antonia Paris, Honey Hartley, Karla Spetic, Nylon Flocks and Pizzuto will also be apart of the fashion extravaganza.
The week-long schedule will include designers that have registered a series of small to large scale collection shows and presentations. The schedule will provide designers in this market an opportunity to communicate details about their 'invitation only' collection show events to a wider industy audience including the media and domestic buyers.
The RAFW AW 2009 Collection Schedule will be communicated to national and international media and buyers and regular updates will appear at www.rafw.com.au
The significantly larger Rosemount Australian Fashion Week Spring Summer Collections for 2009 and 2010 is scheduled to take place from the 27th of April to the 1st of May 2009. This is a traditional and centralised venue. The venue is the Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT) which is in Sydney. For more information about this event go to www.rafw.com.au
