A new report from Datamonitor identifies that the male grooming is continuing to expand throughout Australia but the rate is expanding slower than first expected. As the women's market continues to grow the male market is being marketed differently to the female. Substantial difference are seen in the attitude towards self groming, these are extremely evident between the genders. In Australia in 2007, 840.8 million dollars was spent on male personal care market compared with 2,001.0 million dollars from the female market. The survey also showed large difference in the influence of a product. Men were influenced when choosing personal care products by price, followed closely by their preferred brand and ease of use.

The new ingredients are said to be packed with nutrients which improve and accelerate tissue regeneration whilst also stimulating immunity. The wrinkle-fighting ingredients are cells from colostrum and female placentas.

Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) Autumn/Winter as well as Transeasonal Collections ready for 2009 will be presented in a new format. Most noticeably there is no centralised venue. This is normally seen at the larger RAFW Spring Summer Collection events held in April. The RAWF 2009 Collection Schedule will coordinate a calendar of events featuring the region's leading established as well as emerging designers. The events will begin on the 13th of October and conclude on the 19th of October after a week of fabulous fashion and entertainment.
