As the women's market continues to grow the male market is being marketed differently to the female. Substantial difference are seen in the attitude towards self groming, these are extremely evident between the genders. In Australia in 2007, 840.8 million dollars was spent on male personal care market compared with 2,001.0 million dollars from the female market. The survey also showed large difference in the influence of a product.
