Brigitte Duclos - Two Women & A Metro

Brigitte Duclos, who describes her start in radio as "just luck", has been an Australian radio favourite for 15 years. She was one of Australia's first female sports journalists and also has a strong record in news and weather presenting (despite not really knowing that much about meteorology!).

Her sense of humour and outgoing personality make her a great fit for Australian breakfast radio. Brig admits she has plenty to be thankful for, describing her greatest achievement as "surviving 15 years of radio".

Brigitte Duclos cooks a mean baked flathead with kipfler, believing it could be served in any five star restaurant. In fact her favourite room in the house is her kitchen, "it's the hub, where everything happens".

It comes as no surprise that growing up, Brigitte Duclos's hero was Wonder Woman, both of them starting off in a traditionally male world and then taking it by storm - (although her fear of spiders doesn't really bode well for the superhero imagery).

Brigitte has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree and if she weren't on radio, she'd be working in a bookshop.

Brigitte Duclos has found a loving home on Mix101.1's Two Women & a Metro and it shows. The on-air dynamic with fellow presenters Tom Gleeson and George McEncroe make the team one of Melbourne's most loved radio shows.
