To celebrate the release of popular children’s series ELMO’S WORLD: SUMMER HOLIDAY on DVD, Madman Entertainment are offering you the chance two in Elmo’s World Summer Holiday DVDs

Madman Entertainment and Sesame Workshop present ELMO’S WORLD: SUMMER HOLIDAY on DVD. This fun and engaging release contains three summer themed episodes; Beaches, Skin and Cameras.

With summer approaching fast, it’s time for toddlers to slip, slop, slap and discover the joy of summer holiday fun. In three episodes with bright and bubbly new songs, Elmo and his friends - the zany Mr.Noodle, ever-adorable Super Grover and, of course, his pet goldfish Dorothy - learn all about summer holidays. Elmo shares stories about his vacation at the beach and demonstrates summertime skills such as spreading a towel on top of the sand, taking care of your skin (or fur) and using a camera.

Elmo’s World, a segment on Sesame Street, features the beloved furry red Muppet Elmo.

FIVE SUN SMART TIPS FOR PARENTS

1. Always use sunscreen
SPF 30 should be applied prior to going outside and re-applied at regular intervals.

2. Avoid the sun in the middle of the day
Plan the day’s activities to reduce your tot’s exposure to the sun, especially between 11am and 3pm.

3. Dress children in sun smart clothing and sunglasses
Cover as much of your tot’s skin as possible with loose-fitting clothes and choose a hat that protects the face, neck and ears.

4. Play in the Shade
If good natural shade is unavailable, consider erecting a portable gazebo or shade structure.

5. Protect your child from sunburn in the car
Glass reduces the transmission of most UVR, but not all, so your baby will still need protection. Window shades or tinting can provide extra protection.
