Greek Festival of Sydney

Experience the Greek-Australian culture at a Festival that's become a staple in Sydney's event calendar and is one of the largest and longest running annual cultural festivals in Australia. Greek Fest Darling Harbour will give Sydney-siders a taste of Greece on the weekend of 16-17 March as the foreshore of Darling Harbour comes alive to the sounds of fabulous Greek music, the aromas of sumptuous Greek food, dazzling displays of Greek dancing and many other amazing surprises.

Celebrate the Greek way with food, dancing and a quality line-up of live entertainment including some of the best home-grown talent and Greece's most popular and talented superstar Michalis Hatzigiannis. With multiple platinum records and sold out tours, Hatzigiannis is one of Greece's best international exports.

My Kitchen Rules 2012 season siblings Helen and Steve will also take centre stage to dazzle the audience with their culinary expertise and demonstrate not only their cooking abilities, but why these two were last seasons' MKR most popular contestants.

"We are delivering one of the best event line-ups of recent years and are expecting this to be our largest Festival to date. There are plenty of reasons to be excited about this year's program" said Nia Karteris, Chair of the Greek Festival of Sydney.

Bring your family, bring your appetites and bring your dancing shoes for two days of music, fine food and Greek festivities. Entry is free of charge for all.

From 3pm Saturday the Festival will feature the best local contemporary youth music acts and Greek dancing groups, children's activities, musical performances, mouth-watering Greek delicacies and special guests.

From 10am Sunday, the festivities continue with a full day of traditional and contemporary Greek entertainment. The highlights for the day apart from the food, coffee, family atmosphere and friendly crowds are the live music by our long line-up of local and international quality acts with a few surprises thrown in the mix.
