- How did it feel to hear your song played all over the airwaves?
My songs haven't been played over the radio yet.
- Did you have any pre-conceived ideas about the music industry?
I know that it is not a facile business. It takes a lot of heart, soul, and effort. Which I know I have!
- Do you write your own songs? What's your inspiration?
Yes, I write my own songs. My inspiration varies..My writing is mostly based on experience.
- What music/artists do you listen to when you are not playing your own?
I usually listen to Journey. Journey is my favorite band. Steve Perry is amazing! I listen to mostly classic rock, to soul music.
- What's next? Tour/Album/Single?
I am currently working on putting out an album.
- Was there a moment you contemplated throwing in the towel?
No, never. This industry has a lot of challenges, and I love a challenge.
- Do you prefer performing live or recording?
I enjoy both. Usually recording sessions are more intimate. But I love to perform live.
- What/who was your inspiration to go into the music industry?
Artists who have inspired me, I would probably have to say, Jennifer Holiday, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Journey, and a few others.
- What is the biggest challenge you have faced along the way to your musical success?
The biggest challenge was getting over my anxiety/depression.
- What's a typical day like?
A typical day is basically getting up in the morning, and writing a few songs, having fun, going to comedy clubs...
- What has been your favorite part of becoming a music artist?
Meeting a diverse population of people.
- If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?
I would love to collaborate with Whitney Houston, Journey, or Steve Perry.
- Are you single? What do you look for in a partner?
I am single! I look for numerous qualities... They have to be mature, funny, sensitive, and may the list prevail...
