Tash Sefton Braun Autumn/Winter Top Tips Interview

As the winter months approach it is time to refresh your wardrobe and add some key Autumn Winter pieces to your shopping list. The brains behind They All Hate Us, a trailblazing and much imitated online fashion destination, Tash Sefton and Elle Ferguson have uncovered the NEW Braun Silk-épil 9 as the key to this season's wardrobe, as it allows Australian women to have non-stop beautiful skin - a fashion trend which never goes out of style!

Sydney based BFFs and brains behind Australia's leading fashion blog -They All Hate Us', have teamed up with Braun this season to show Australian women the importance of staying on top of your beauty routine to make sure you are ready for any outfit, in any occasion, no matter what the season with the Braun Silk-épil 9.

Tash Sefton, stylish mum and co-founder of They All Hate Us, said: 'I love fashion and being able to express myself through my style. With two kids and a busy schedule it is so important to be prepared and on top of my beauty routine, the Braun Silk-Epil 9 allows me to have smooth skin in a matter of minutes if I decide to wear something that shows off my legs. Although fashion trends chop and change from season to season, with graphic black and white, military influences and an eighties influence seeing a comeback for Autumn Winter 2016, I believe it's important to be in control of your beauty routine so that you never have to feel limited by your fashion choices!"

Elle Ferguson, savvy business woman and co-founder of They All Hate Us commented: 'We are always on the go, whether we are rushing to a shoot or attending an event which means I need to be ready for any occasion or any season! The Braun Silk-épil 9 is my little black dress of beauty products – it's always packed in my bag because I know it will make me feel confident in any situation. Tash and I are all about investment pieces, invest your hard earned cash in shoes, bags and jackets that will stand the test of time! The Braun Silk-épil 9 is on my list of investment products that will stand the test of time throughout any season!"

The style gurus know the perfect edit of the must-have pieces for an understated, unfussy style for the upcoming autumn / winter 2016 season. Here are their top tips for creating the perfect A/W wardrobe:

Fresh Eyes
As it's the beginning of a new season Tash and I love to do a massive clean out, Tash is way better at this than me and is quite cut throat. Go through all your categories - jeans, jumpers, jackets, shirting, basics and definitely shoes. Keep your investment pieces but throw out, donate or sell the items that are old, you never wore or you've worn way too much. This way your wardrobe instantly feels fresh and you're ready to add some new Autumn/Winter pieces.

Work It
Once you've cleaned out your wardrobe you can work out what you're missing and what you have. It's great to organise your wardrobe into categories such as bottoms, tops, jackets and accessories that way when you are shopping you know what you're looking for. It's also great as you can look at what colours and textures you are already working with in your wardrobe. For example do you have a lot of denim and need to add some leather or is everything black and you need a highlight colour?

Stalk
The best thing about the age that we live in is that literally everything is at our fingertips. Have a google of trends or street style snaps from New York where it's winter now or better yet sit down and scroll through Instagram – some of our biggest inspiration comes from normal girls just rocking it. Make sure you screenshot so you have reference photos when you are shopping.

Our blog is a giant mood board of inspiration and as we approach the cooler months we like to do inspiration posts about what we would love to wear this season... It's kind of a visual shopping list.

Reality
Ok so now you have what you want to be dressing like but you have to factor in reality. Here in Australia it doesn't get THAT cold that you need a full fur coat (faux of course) so you need to adapt that inspiration to reality. Do heels become flats and does that highlight colour just become a lipstick so you don't scare everyone in the office? Can you integrate those demin shorts right throughout the year?

Colour Therapy
Sometimes the easiest ways to update your wardrobe is to add a colour. Work out what works for you...brunettes look amazing in shades of plum while blondes find grey tones more flattering. It might be as simple as adding a coloured scarf to an already existing outfit.

Be Prepared
The great thing about having a mix and match wardrobe is that you literally never know exactly what you might decide to wear, so you can always keep your look fresh. The bad thing is that it's always the day you decide to rock your favourite shorts that you find your legs need attention. So invest in something that will solve your problem on the spot – Tash and I have been converted to epilation by the Braun Silk-epil 9, because it can get rid of even the shortest hairs on your legs, meaning no need to wait to wax, we can wear what we want, when we want!

Invest
Tash and I are all about investment pieces. Invest your hard earned cash in shoes, bags and jackets that will last the test of time and shop the high street stores for your more fashion fast pieces like printed dresses and tailored pants. This way every year you do that clean out you aren't getting rid of big ticket items.

One Love
Dress for you! At the end of the day you know what YOU love and what works for you. If you love a hat in winter cause your hair goes frizzy buy the hat and rock the hat. Don't let trends dictate your wardrobe choices you need to be true to you

Staples
Every good wardrobe has your staples, those pieces that are on high rotation like a good cashmere jumper and your fav jeans. Know that these pieces make you happy and confident! The Braun Silk-épil 9 has become a staple of mine, smooth silky legs add to every outfit I own!

The Braun Silk-épil 9 epilator is available from Harvey Norman, David Jones, Myer and Shaver Shop, and priced from $249.99 RRP. For more information on the Braun portfolio, please visit Braun at www.braun.com.

Interview with Tash Sefton

Question: What do you love about the Braun Silk- épil 9?

Tash Sefton: The pain of getting my legs waxed would always stress me out! The Braun Silk- épil 9 doesn't hurt at all and I love the way it catches one to two day old hairs so I'm always ready to wear whatever I want!

Question: How does the Braun Silk- épil 9 prepare you for autumn?

Tash Sefton: In Sydney it doesn't get cold enough to cover up all the time during our cooler months. So you can continue to show some leg throughout the season. There's nothing more chic than a dress, oversized coat, an amazing pair of heels and a bare leg. The Braun Silk- épil 9 allows me to make unlimited fashion choices whatever the season!

Question: And, what colour coat should we invest in, for winter?

Tash Sefton: It needs to be floor length and in a light grey Marle.

Question: What will everyone be wearing this Autumn/Winter?

Tash Sefton: Over the knee boots, anything Gucci and faux fur coats.

Question: And, what style of jeans are best for the Autumn Winter?

Tash Sefton: Skinny leg as they work perfectly with over the knee boots over the top. I'm also loving frayed hem jeans with an amazing ankle boot.

Question: When organising our wardrobes how should we decide what to keep and what to donate?

Tash Sefton: I have strict rules! Whatever hasn't been worn in 6 months goes (unless it's designer and needs to be kept) if you buy something new and you don't have a spare coat hanger you need to remove something before the new purchase is added. No buying extra coat hangers!

Question: Where do you find inspiration for your blog?

Tash Sefton: Everywhere and anywhere. The world is at our fingertips in real time now to we have access to anyone.

Question: If we were going to buy one high priced item, this autumn – what should it be?

Tash Sefton: I'm a handbag girl so I would always invest in a new handbag - Celine or Chloe.
