Taskforce On Care Costs

Show YOU care - and send a message to Canberra about the high cost of care

On 19 February 2007 logon to www.tocc.org.au to participate in the Taskforce on Care Cost's "Who Cares?" campaign and send a message to Canberra about the high cost of care for children, the elderly and people with a disability.

Both the Federal Government and the Opposition are being given mixed messages about whether care is affordable or not. The Taskforce's research shows that the cost of care is spiralling out of control and that carers are being pushed out of the workforce.

After three years of research, the Taskforce has developed fair and sensible solutions that will give Australians real choices about managing work and care. Politicians need to hear this message directly from the Australian public.

Logon to www.tocc.org.au on 19 February 2007 and download one of the electronic-cards to send to a Federal Minister of your choice about the high cost of care and the best solution.

The Taskforce is a non-profit organisation supported by over 40 businesses and community organisations. For more information visit www.tocc.org.au.
