Nik Fish Bio
With a career spanning three decades, Nik Fish is acknowledged as one of Australia's leading DJs, as reflected by his number 2 ranking in the recent Technics inthemix Top 50 Australian DJ Poll 2005. In 2004 he ranked number 3 and in 2003 he got the number 4 spot, throw in nominations for 'People's Choice Best DJ'' every year in the annual Australian Dance Music Awards and an ARIA nomination for 'Best Dance release'' in the mid 90's and you soon get the impression that Nik is not only popular, but a very talented DJ and Nik began his career playing dance music on radio in Sydney in the late 80's,15 years on, Nik still headlines most raves, from large festivals to smaller, more underground parties and is resident DJ at Sydney clubbing institution: 'Voodoo @ Sublime' the massive Friday night club night at Home nightclub in Darling Harbour. He has managed to still maintain appeal to the old, new and younger generation of both clubbers and ravers everywhere.

Amongst his dedication to playing in big clubs and raves in Sydney, Nik has a massive national profile as the unrivaled king of Australia's hard dance scene which also sees him travelling interstate every other weekend to perform all around Australia. Predominantly a Hard Dance DJ, Nik enjoys playing energetic music. As a performer, he's exciting to watch, often chopping and cutting tracks, creating new tricks and generally working with the crowd. Nik Fish loves to take risks and experiment but is cautious not to be an educator, rather an edu-tainer.
