'Whether it be once a week or every day, Yoga has been proven to enhance all areas of life and can even be done at your desk or in bed!" explains Claire.

Claire's top five reasons to take up Yoga in 2015 include:
1. Reduces stress and anxiety
2. Relief from back pain
3. Helpful for insomnia
4. Improves concentration
5. Enhances mental and emotional wellbeing

Claire advises, 'Before you join your local Yoga studio there are a few things to take into consideration.

'Firstly, make sure you do your research and visit yogaaustralia.org.au to find a suitably qualified Yoga Australia registered teacher. Secondly, ensure you tell your teacher of any past and present health concerns or injuries. And finally, make sure you choose a style of Yoga suitable for your goals, as different styles suit different people – Bikram isn't for everyone!"
