2017 ARIA Awards International Guests
ARIA and Sony Music Entertainment Australia, is thrilled to announce that Mando-pop superstar A-Lin and India's #1 rapper Badshah will be walking the Red Carpet and attending the 2017 ARIA Awards with Apple Music on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017.
BADSHA: Badshah is undisputedly the crowd favourite of Indian hip-hop. Known as -The Anthem Maker', Badshah is India's number 1 rapper, singer, music director and composer, and is a name to be reckoned with amidst the international music scene.
Badshah's music can be best described as Bollywood infused hip-hop – the Indian star produces records that are punchy, rhythmic, energetic, and cool. Impressively, Sony Music India signed Badshah on a 360 degree management contract in 2014, making him the very first artist on the roster to be a part of the brand new Artist Management Vertical.
Earlier this year, Badshah collaborated with American electronic music group Major Lazer on the party single, -I Wanna Be Free'. The dance influencers combined their unique music flavours and cultures on the track, to unite audiences across the globe to come together through innovative dance music.
Rightfully renowned for consistently reinventing the Bollywood and dance sounds of India with songs like -Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai', -DJ Waley Babu', and -Mercy', Badshah proves that he is the artist to watch within the international music landscape.
A-LIN: Taiwanese singer, A-Lin, is one of the nations most celebrated vocalists and is one of the Mando-pop A-listers in Greater China, Singapore, and Malaysia. Consistently praised for injecting soaring vocals and soul into her music, A-Lin has firmly distinguished herself as one of Asia's most renowned pop artists.
Whilst A-Lin joined Sony Music Taiwan in 2014, her music career shot to fame a year later when she was invited to appear on the third season of the Chinese reality singing competition, I Am A Singer. Effortlessly, A-Lin won the heart of Asia with her powerhouse vocals and stunning, show-stopping performances.
A-Lin's original songs always endorse a pop anthem status, with tracks such as a song written by Sia -More than you ask for,' a song written and inspired by herself -Sea of Light' and her latest single, -Go' becoming instant favourites across Asia!
