Angie McMahon September Headline Tour

Having secured her status as one of music's most important new voices across the globe, Angie McMahon has announced a series of headline dates.  Her timeless ruminations  on everyday life will be on display in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide this September.

Since the release of her breakaway debut single Slow Mover in October 2017, the singer-songwriter has performed sold-out shows across Australia and the UK, in addition to high profile supports for Father John Misty, Alanis Morissette, The Shins, Angus and Julia Stone and more.  Angie has also graced festival stages at St Jerome's Laneway, Secret Garden, NYE of the Hill and will make her Splendour in the Grass debut this July.

Angie will be joined in September by one of her favourite artists Leif Vollebekk. The Canadian indie folk singer-songwriter will come armed with his 2017 album Twin Solitude which was shortlisted for the 2017 Polaris Music Prize and 2018 Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year.

Quickly capturing the attention of audiences with her candid songwriting and raw melodies, Angie's debut single Slow Mover landed at #33 on the triple j hottest 100, secured an honourable mention in the Vanda and Young Songwriting Competition, received radio play in the UK and Germany and is nearing 3.5 million plays on Spotify.  Latest single Missing Me saw Angie make her mark globally, charting in the Top 30 of College Radio in the USA and has amassed over 1.6 million Spotify streams with the help of New Music Friday playlists in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Locally the track was the #7 most played song at triple j and saw Angie nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year (AIR).

With her debut album now in its final stages and new music to be revealed shortly, 2018 will see the Angie launch further into the stratosphere with her most compelling expression yet.
