The Sony Foundation has confirmed it has hit the donation target of $1.5million for Sydney's first You Can Centre at Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick. Sony Foundation ambassadors including Justice Crew, Sally Obermeder, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Taylor Henderson, Steve Smith and Nick Malceski were on-site to celebrate this special moment by donning their hard hats and high-vis vests and giving the construction workers some help on the job.

The You Can Centre at Prince of Wales Hospital will be Australia's second You Can facility with the first having opened at St Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth in May, 2013.

You Can was established after the Sony Foundation learned of the alarming gap in care for 16-25 year olds with cancer. You Can aims to address this gap and is establishing age-appropriate specialised youth cancer centres around Australia, the first of their kind in Australia.
