Rochford Winery and Music Theatre Australia announce fundraiser for The Victorian Bushfire Relief Fund at
"Opera under the Stars"

Rochford Wines and Music Theatre Australia have announced pIans to help raise funds for victims of this week's tragic Victorian bushfires, through the forthcoming concert event, Opera under the Stars, to be held on Saturday, March 7 at Rochford Winery.

Tania de Jong AM, co-producer of Opera under the Stars and founding member of internationally-renowned opera group Pot-Pourri, who will perform favourites from opera and music theatre, said today "Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by this tragedy, and although we have already committed this event as a fundraiser for the Alannah and Madeline Foundation and Australian Childhood Foundation, we will be doing everything we can to help the Victorian Bushfire Relief Fund by raising additional contributions on the night."

Director of Rochford Wines, Mr Helmut Konecsny commented "These horrific bushfires have had a profound affect on so many people, in this district and beyond, that will resonate for years to come.

"Our hope is that people will return to the Yarra Valley and support the community.

"Rochford Wines will continue to host uplifting and positive events in the region, such as Opera under the Stars, especially when there is the opportunity to raise funds for such worthy causes."
