We Own The Night follows Bobby Green (Phoenix), a man who has built an enviable life for himself managing the hottest club in town, El Caribe. His life is spent in a haze of cigarette smoke, loud music and a plethora of beautiful people, including girlfriend Amada (Mendes). Bobbys sacrifice to lead this life has seen him turn his back on his family, even changing his name in order to create his dream life.

Coming from a long line of NYPD officers, Bobbys relationship with his brother Joseph (Wahlberg) an up-andcoming officer and his father Burt (Duvall) -the legendary deputy chief of police -threatens his association with a Russian Mafioso who operates out of the El Caribe.

Bobbys worlds collide when his father and brother begin targeting the Russian gangster as part of their units crack down on the cities lucrative drug industry.
