After taking time to write and reflect, Sydney-based singer-songwriter Cyrus returns with his brooding ballad, -Alone,' through Sony Music Entertainment Australia. Self-penned and composed, Cyrus explains, 'The song is about embracing the grief that comes when someone leaves your life." -Alone' marks the first of many original releases to come from gifted and captivating artist Cyrus, as he draws from the highs and lows of love and loss.

'I wanted to take some time off to reconnect with myself, reflect on where I've been, and realise where I want to go," explains Cyrus' on his recent hiatus. 'There were so many experiences I needed to learn and grow from, so having a break to process these changes for myself was just something I had to do," he admits. This has been a positive musical shift for Cyrus, as his latest efforts weaves an intricate narrative driven by a fresh outlook and the honest vocals for which he has become known. With many more projects set to release, Cyrus is ready to emerge a bona fide songsmith.

In addition to his solo efforts, Cyrus is making time for various collaborative ventures including his guest feature on electronic producer BAYTEK's track, -Anchor.' There are numerous other works in progress that serve to verify the young singer-songwriter's status as an exciting and versatile artist to watch.
