Scarehouse Project Tour
On the final stretch of the Wonderland Scarehouse Project tour, Haiku Hands today share the much anticipated film clip for their breakout single Not About You. Earning their place as one of the most talked about acts this year, Haiku Hands will be performing a huge run of shows this festival season including Red Bull Sound Select, Falls Festival, NYE on the Hill, NYE in the Park, Pitch and Panama in addition to a Block Party performance at the Sydney Opera House in March. The elusive crew of artists most recently performed a sold-out headline show in Sydney, sets at The Plot, Heaps Gay and Melbourne Music Week; and as special guests for Ecca Vandal's recent tour.
The Not About You visuals were directed by Ernesto Sumarkho and Mathieu Carlot. Driven by the group's distinct aesthetic and a variation of key landscapes, the video provides a powerful and iconic visual translation of the track.
Most recently, So You Think You Can Dance judge and renowned American choreographer Brian Friedman (Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Rhianna, Usher and Prince) featured Not About You in his series of choreography videos which has amassed over 375,000 views.
Haiku Hands is also pleased to officially announce signing to Paradigm Talent Agency's notable live roster in North America that includes Lorde, Diplo, Flume and The xx, where they will be represented by booking agent powerhouses Tom Windish and Jackie Nalpant. Windish says of the partnership, 'It took me two listens to be smitten by Haiku Hands. Then I started getting feedback from friends in the business I trust and I knew I had to talk with them about working together."
In Europe, Haiku Hands have signed on with super agents Natasha Bent and Lucy Putman at the CODA Agency, with a live roster including Chvches, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and The Knife. 'We are so incredibly excited and humbled to be working with these talented ladies. They are strong minded, unique and refreshing. We can't wait to help continue their global build alongside Paradigm," says Bent.
With a remarkably unique stage show, Haiku Hands present an eclectic set and a multi-sensory live experience. Collaborating with some of Australia's finest writers and producers, including El Gusto (Hermitude), Joelistics, Jaytee Hazard and Lewis Can Cut, Haiku Hands curate, perform and work as a collective of artists. Together, they form genre bending songs with influences from hip hop, pop, electronic, dance and disco in which they engage and explore social norms with their lyrical and visual content.
