Legoland Malaysia Resort

Everything is awesome at LEGOLAND® Malaysia this May – especially for fans of S Star Wars™. Yesterday the Resort announced its amazing line-up of activities for the upcoming annual LEGO® Star Wars™ Days celebrations happening throughout the month.

This year, fans and visitors can expect something a little extra at Asia's first LEGOLAND Resort on 4 May. The first 500 fans who arrive dressed as their favourite Star Wars™ characters will receive a special gift bag containing a LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort shopping voucher worth RM100, an exclusive LEGO Star Wars™ Stormtrooper Sergeant Minifigure, LEGO Star Wars™ Microfighter set and special LEGO Star Wars™ keychains.

Star Wars™ fans from right around Malaysia and Singapore will also take part in a special parade, marching from the LEGOLAND Hotel all the way to the LEGO Star Wars™ Miniland on display at the Theme Park.

Earlier this year, LOM LUG, a leading LEGO fan group in Malaysia, held a competition for LEGO and Star Wars™ fans from right across Asia, inviting to submit their own Star Wars™ themed LEGO model creations. On 4 May the winners of all three competition categories – Kidz Builder (9 years and below), Junior Builder (10 – 15 years) and Master Builder (16 years and above), will be announced at LEGOLAND®, with their winning creations displayed at the Park until August 2015.

'This is the first time LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has celebrated the event in such a huge way. We are delighted to be able to support and engage with LEGO fans on what is going to be a fantastic day " said Mark Germyn, Resort General Manager. 'Furthermore, 2015 is Malaysia's Official Year of Festivals so this is a great event for all visitors to include in their travel diary in May", he added.

Throughout May, Park guests can join in a great range of activities including photo opportunities at the LEGO Star Wars™ photo wall, try their hand at building LEGO Star Wars™ Microfighters and contribute to the LEGO Star Wars™ Mosaic mural. Over at the LEGO Mindstorm Centre, there will also be LEGO Star Wars™ themed workshops for children.

And for a limited time from 1 – 4 May visitors to the Resort will receive a fourth pass free for every three standard and premium annual passes purchased.
