Louise Bourgoin and Pierre Rochefort Visit The 25th Alliance Française French Film Festival

Two of France's -hottest' young actors, Louise Bourgoin and Pierre Rochefort, will be visiting Australia as guests of the 25th Alliance Française French Film Festival, which will be held in the luxurious comfort of Palace Cinemas nationally throughout March and April.

Bourgoin and Rochefort who both star in Going Away (Un beau dimanche) an intimate thriller from renowned director Nicole Garcia (screening courtesy of High Gloss Entertainment), will be visiting separately to attend the Festival's gala launches in five cities, along with Q&A events.  Their trip, made possible by the generosity of Unifrance and Institut Français, continues the Festival's tradition of bringing exciting Gallic film talent to Australia.

A leading light of of contemporary French cinema, Bourgoin's film credits include director Gilles Marchand's Black Heaven, the bittersweet comedy/drama A Happy Event (a highlight of the 2012 Festival), and the title role in writer/director's Luc Besson's wildly popular The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec.  In 2013 she starred alongside Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson in the heist caper, Love Punch.

The son of adored screen-star Jean Rochefort and famed actor/director Nicole Garcia, Rochefort initially trained for a career in music but an inherent love of acting led him to switch studies. To date he has amassed several credits including Farewell My Queen and the eerie TV series, The Returned.  Going Away marks his first lead role.

Bourgoin will attend the Festival's Opening Night Premieres at Palace Verona in Sydney, Palace Cinema Como in Melbourne and Palace Centro in Brisbane, whilst Rochefort will be guest-of-honour at the Festival's Opening Nights at Cinema Paradiso in Perth and Palace Nova Eastend in Adelaide.
