Made In the 90's Volume 2

Following the success of Made in the 90's in 2011 with R&B stalwarts 112, Ralph Tresvant, Horace Brown, Allure and Marques Houston, Delta Bravo Presents is thrilled to announce the return of the "Made In The 90's" concert series for 2012. With 90's nostalgia at an all time high, the annual Made in the 90's concert series brings together some of the R&B genre's most recognisable hit makers. On November 30th in Sydney, and 2nd December in Melbourne, 90's R&B stars Color Me Badd, Soul For Real, Shai and Jon B. will bless the stage with their catalogue of hit songs.

Color Me Badd burst onto the charts in 1991 with their massivemainstream hit "I Wanna Sex You Up", which remained on the worldwide charts for a whole year. Discovered by Kool & The Gang's Robert Bell, the quartet dominated the US charts for 2 years with the hit singles "I Adore Mi Amor", "All For Love", "Thinkin Back" and Slow Motion" from their debut album C.M.B. Their popularity saw the group feature on seminal 90's TV series 90210. The group remains intact as a trio with original members, Mark Caderon, Bryan Abrams and Kevin Thornton. Former member Sam Watters went on to establish himself as asuccessful producer. CMB now bring their hits to Australia for the first time in over 20 years.

As teens, Soul For Real, under the watchful eye of the late and great Heavy D, brought the world "Candy Rain", a #1 hit on the R&B charts that also reached #2 on the mainstream Billboard 100. The group followed it up with the timeless anthem, "Every Little Thing I Do", a track which captured the essence of mid 90's R&B, and remains a popular club anthem all over the world almost 20 years later. Four albums later, the group continues to fuse theirbrand of R&B with hip hop sensibilities and are in the process of working on a new album due for release in early 2013.

Songwriter, producer, vocalist and Grammy Nominee Jon B. brought a distinctive focus on smooth melodies to contemporary R&B. His debut single in 1995 entitled "Someone To Love", a duet with Babyface, hit the Top 10 and earned him a Grammy Nomination. His second album "Cool Relax" put him in the spotlight with the 2Pac assisted "Are U Still Down" and "They Don't Know", certifying the album platinum. His third album "Pleasures U Like" featured the dancefloor hit "Don't Talk" and continues to be played regularly in the club today. As an accomplished songwriter for artists like Maxi Priest, Michael Jackson, Az Yet and Toni Braxton, Jon brings his live show to Australia for the very first time. His sixth album release "Comfortable Swagg" is available now and shows he has stayed true to his craft and continues to remain one of the most consistent and loved artists in the R&B genre.

After a series of shows in mid 2012, Shai return to Australia to join the Made In the 90's Tour. In 1992, the only acapella song to ever chart, reaching #2 on the US Billboard Charts was theworldwide smash hit "If I Ever Fall IN Love" by the R&B collective Shai. The song went on to become one of the most popular songs of the 90's, and launched a successful career for the quartet with the honeyed vocals behind the track. The two lead vocalists, Darnell (Darnell Van Rensalier) and G (Garfield Bright) continue to wow audiences the world over with their smooth and soulful style of R&B and in the process paying homage to the legends that have set the way for them.

The Made in the '90s show is a celebration of good time R&B… a throwback to the days of big smooth R&B voices, and incredible showmanship. Take a trip down memory lane with Made In the 90's.
