Man About Town is set in the fast-paced, high-stakes world of Hollywood's talent agent industry. In this offbeat dramatic comedy, L.A.'s top talent agent, Jack Giamoro (Ben Affleck), seems to have it all: a successful career, money, and a beautiful wife named Nina (Rebecca Romijn). But he still feels like something is missing, so he takes a journal writing class to explore his feelings-taught by the pompous and temperamental Mr. Primkin (John Cleese). Jack's journal writing makes him re-evaluate his life, and opens the floodgates to a series of both comic and tragic memories-flashbacks that play out onscreen like faded snapshots in an old family album.

When Jack learns that his wife is cheating on him with his most important client, sitcom writer Phil Balow (Adam Goldberg), his perfect life really starts to unravel. Things get even worse when Jack's journal-which contains secrets that could ruin him both personally and professionally-is stolen by ambitious journalist, Barbi Ling (Bai Ling). Jack must fight back to hold on to everything he has fought so hard to win, and in doing so, he finally achieves the self-insight he was looking for. He realizes that only through family can he really find lasting happiness.

Written and directed by Mike Binder, who most recently directed Media 8 Entertainment's The Upside of Anger (released in the US through New Line Cinema last spring), Man About Town stars Academy Award winning leading man Ben Affleck (Pearl Harbor) and leading actress/model Rebecca Romijn (X-Men). Rounding out the film's talented ensemble cast are John Cleese (Fawlty Towers), Mike Binder (The Upside of Anger), Gina Gershon (Face/Off), Adam Goldberg(A Beautiful Mind), Howard Hesseman (About Schmidt), Bai Ling (Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow), Jerry O'Connell (Sliders), Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle), Amber Valletta (Hitch), and Damien Dante Wayans (Malibu's Most Wanted).
