Michael Jackson has died at age 50.

Shock waves rock the world with the announcement that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson is dead.

POP music legend Michael Jackson has died after suffering a heart attack at his home in Los Angeles this morning, (25th June US time).

Michael Jackson was in preparation for his keenly anticipated concert comeback in London, his first show in more than 10 years.

The Michael Jackson Concert Tour - billed as the "final curtain" - had recently been thrown into doubt after Michael Jackson pushed back the opening dates last month.

Concert organisers stressed the delay was not linked to Michael Jackson's health.

"While Jackson reigned as the King of Pop in the 1980s, his once-stellar career had been overshadowed by his colourful public behaviour, his startling physical transformation and multiple allegations of child abuse." smh.com.au
