Visual (Lookers)
These people like to look at and interpret information they see. They hate being read passage from book and prefer to see the words for themselves. They sit up straight, talk quickly and interrupt if they want you to understand what they need to know. They pay attention to how things look and are often unnerved by mess and clutter. They often say words like "See you" "Watch it" "I noticed" "It appears"

Auditory (Listeners)
These people react to sounds and words they hear. Typically, they love conversation and appear to listen intently, paying attention to detail and responding well to what is said. They often veer towards roles where they talk, explain and listen. When concentrating they find noise a distraction. They often move their lips when reading and listening to music.

They may say words like "I hear you" "Listen" "Let me tell you" "You can say that again."

Kinaesthetic (Touchers)
Generally highly tactile people they like to stand close and often reach out and touch without realizing they are. They may tap a should to get attention. Prone to moodiness and sometimes wearing their feeling on the outside. They talk with their hands a lot and like to feel involved. They use words like "That makes sense" "I know how you feel" "It was touch and go" "No hard feelings"

Mostly A's mean you are a Visual person

Mostly B's means you are Audio

Mostly C's means you are kinaesthetic.

Neuro- (Greek, neuro for nerve) stands for the fundamental theory that all behaviour is the result of a persons neurological processes. Our experiences are processed from the 5 senses; Visual, (sight) Auditory, (hearing) Kinaesthetic, (feeling & touch) Olfactory, (smell) Gustatory (taste). These are fundamental that we learned about in primary school. Yet they form how we run our own nervous system.

Linguistics - (Latin for language) Indicates that neurological processes are represented, sequenced and ordered through language both verbal and non-verbal. Words, pictures, sounds, feelings are all part of the linguistic system.

Programming - refers to the process of organising the sensory representations to achieve specific results and outcomes. When we change the programming we change and experience lasting generative change.

Programming behaviours largely exist at the deep unconscious level. This means that sometimes we want to change but we don't necessarily change. Habits and patterns of behaviours exist at the unconscious level and are part of our programming.

The quality of our well being and our lives are a result of our unconscious programming. If you are happy with your quality then it is not necessary to make changes. However most people are now searching for ways to make changes, effectively, easily permanently.

NLP requires study and experience for effective use. Most personal development courses and coaching programmes now incorporate NLP in some of their practices. NLP is infiltrating all areas of work places and peoples lives. It is the most empowering recognized body of therapeutic techniques, that is used in so many ways.

Unfortunately, NLP in the hands of the unwise or undisciplined person can be misrepresented . Ultimately, NLP gives us tools to make changes for ourselves and to assist other people.

We envisage that NLP training will become second nature for parents and in schools that know the power of the mind and the advantages it brings. It is a tool and unless it is used with our hearts for a better quality and direction for our lives, it can be misunderstood.
