Jason Statham is Luke Wright, a washed up ex-cop with a failed cage fighting career that led to the brutal murder of his wife by the Russian Mafia.

His downward spiral carries him across the path of Mei, a young Chinese girl also hunted by the Russian mob - as well as a Chinese Triad and local corrupt cops. They are all after the combination to a safe containing thirty million dollars - a combination known only to math prodigy, Mei.

Realising that it is up to him to save the life of this innocent child, Luke snaps back to life and into violent action. Over the course of one night he tears a swath through the city's underground, racking up one of the highest body counts in movie history.

Safe is a non-stop action tour-de-force with Statham as this best: unbridled, unhinged and raring for retribution.
