A brand new drama series from the makers of Shameless, Skins follows the lives and loves of a group of raucous friends in Bristol. Warm-hearted comedy, daring realism and lack of patronising moral absolutism, it is also a real rarity in TV - a drama about teenagers that is actually performed by teenagers.

Each weekly episode is a mixture of humorous, heartbreaking, and sometimes shocking stories about a group of troublesome 17 year olds. All of them sunny, optimistic kids who get high, get drunk, get laid and get up for their A levels, all the while pushing boundaries and managing their parents like only teenagers can. These kids really grab life by the balls and then give it a twirl.
