A family Christmas market day is being held at The Cannery Rosebery this month, including selfies with Santa, kids craft workshops, live music, face painting and more. 

The vibrant affair is taking place on Saturday 16 December from 10am to 4pm with a range of events to suit all ages across the historic setting of the old Rosella Soup Cannery.  

Kids can drop in anytime for some Christmas craft activities, meet Santa, get their face painted or enjoy a soft play area while Mum or Dad can discover premium gift ideas from the festive market stalls.

Exclusive items such as artisanal hampers from the foodie haven Red Spoon Co., and limited edition wine will be available from The Drink Hive. Mouth watering Christmas ham and meat orders can be made at Kingsmore Meats, fresh produce bought from Wholefoods House and find divine items on a budget from the Sambag outlet store.

Big kids can also explore the boutique on-site breweries of the notorious Archie Rose Distillery Co. and Frenchies Bistro & Brewery.

The numerous food and drink options within the beautiful 11,000sqm of converted warehouse space include some of the best cafes and restaurants in Sydney, counting Welcome Dose Specialty Coffee, Grain Organic Bakery, Three Blue Ducks, Black Star Pastry, Da Mario, and Stanton & Co. among the esteemed list.  

In testament to the unique culinary collective here, industry leaders Gault&Millau and team of expert restaurant reviewers hosted it's Australia awards night in The Cannery Rosebery last month.
