The Crocodile Hunter Lodge

The Crocodile Hunter Lodge

The Crocodile Hunter Lodge is thrilled to introduce luxurious three-bedroom cabins, offering unique accommodation that caters to groups of different sizes while being surrounded by lush wilderness and stunning wildlife, in addition to the existing one and two-bedroom cabins.

Inspired by Steve Irwin's life, legacy and love for wildlife and wild places, The Crocodile Hunter Lodge is proud to offer a magical overnight experience, providing guests with the opportunity to reconnect with the beautiful natural world.

With four new three-bedroom Emu Cabins, including an accessible cabin, each new cabin can accommodate up to six guests for the ultimate stay. Our cabins offer a spectacular scenic view of native bushland, and include a spacious wrap-around deck, kitchen, two bathrooms, including an oversized bathroom with a stone bathtub and heated floor, and a private undercover carpark.

Terri Irwin, world renowned wildlife conservationist said, "We are so happy to introduce The Crocodile Hunter Lodge's new three-bedroom Emu Cabins. The lodge celebrated its first birthday in June 2023, and it is wonderful to be able to continue to provide a phenomenal, one-of-a-kind accommodation for guests who can enjoy the serenity of nature for the entirety of their stay."

"It was Steve's passion to connect people with wildlife and encourage them to love wildlife. At the lodge, guests can now be surrounded by the incredible natural world during the evening and admire our gorgeous wildlife family at Australia Zoo during the day," said Terri Irwin.

Every guest who stays at The Crocodile Hunter Lodge receives unlimited entry to Australia Zoo for each day of their stay, complimentary breakfast at Warrior Restaurant & Bar, exclusive access to The Billabong, our 25-metre infinity pool overlooking the resident wildlife, free shuttle to and from Australia Zoo, a welcome gift pack, and a Sneak Peek tour of the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, which treats sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife 365 days a year.

Located at The Crocodile Hunter Lodge is Warrior Restaurant & Bar, a fine-dining venue that offers the best of modern-Australian cuisine, with menus influenced by the unique produce of the Sunshine Coast region, paying homage to the First Nation people and the plant life they have been utilising for thousands of years. Warrior Restaurant & Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and welcomes everyone for an exceptional culinary experience including guests not staying at the lodge, who can dine while overlooking the koalas, emus and kangaroos.

The Crocodile Hunter Lodge's family-friendly one-, two- and three-bedroom cabins, including two accessible cabins, offer an extraordinary and comfortable stay for everyone to cherish. In addition, a fantastic Christmas package is currently available for guests to book from 24-26 December with exclusive entry to Australia Zoo, a delicious breakfast overlooking the African savannah and plenty of special wildlife experiences.
